3R Arena is located at 625 Watts Creek Road just North of Williamsburg, KY
Take I-75 to Exit 15, Williamsburg, KY.
Turn onto US Hwy 25W South
Go approximately 1.5 miles and turn right onto Factory Lane beside Williamsburg Plastics.
At the next intersection turn right again onto Watts Creek Road.

Wayne Perkins and 3R Arena
Wayne Perkins grew up in Williamsburg, Kentucky in a family known for their ability with horses. When most kids were riding bicycles, Wayne was riding and learning about horses. As Wayne worked his way through school, he constantly added to his abilities around horses preparing horses for shows and showing throughout the southeastern United States.
After Highschool Wayne attended the University of Kentucky and majored in Animal Science taking advantage of the University's connection with the horse industry in Kentucky. He is a 1990 graduate of the U of Ky. Horsemans School. Wayne has trained World Champions, Congress Champions,and High Point Champions in different breed associations and riding disciplines. Many youth, amatuers, and pros have gone on to national titles with Wayne's guidance.
For nearly 25 years Wayne has specialized in training all-around horses. A member of the American Quarterhorse Association and Professional Horseman in good standing, Wayne has served as a judge, worked and shown champion reiners, cowhorses, ranch horses,and roping horses. Wayne trained and exhibited Night of Deliverance, the only stallion to win a William Shatner buckle. Wayne trained and exhibited Buddy Hes Impressed, a stallion that earned the distinction of earning more points in more events than any other offspring of the great sire Impressive. Some horses acheiving honors, Boots Masterpeice AHHA, Spartans Exciting ASBA World Ch, Miss Dean Key multiple World Ch, The Auctioneer World Ch, Rose To Sixcess AQHA All Around,Top Ten Working Cowhorse, Docs Snowgirl AQHA Am. High pt. Poco Taco Bar AQHA AA, Mr Boots Cash AQHA AA, Benitos Pearl AQHA AA, Reno Lynx AQHA Youth High Pt., Muchacho Lindo AQHA PHBA, Trigger Man Doc AQHA Congress winner,... and many, more that had a foundation laid @ 3R.
Wayne is a teacher at heart and has conducted clinics throughout the United States passing his knowledge on to others. Becuase he believes this is the most important aspect of the horse business; educating the leaders.

3R Training Barn
Since 1995 Wayne's operation has been located on Watts Creek Road where he constructed the 3R Arena that hosts many horse shows, rodeos, the Whitley County Fair Horse Show and Mule Pull, the Young Mountain Riders 4H Horse Show, and a monthly show operated by Wayne and Sharon.
